I need to “express” my preferences for the following trips:

Trip 1: Thailand OR Nepal OR Timor Leste OR Cambodia OR Vietnam

Trip 2: Egypt OR Morocco

Keep in mind that I’m working in the capital during the week, so ease of weekend trips should factor in the decision. What say you? I know at least a few of you have been to at least a few of the above countries…Lauren? Fern? Kyle? Erika?

For the first trip, my vote goes for Thailand and Nepal. I’d love to see Angkor Wat someday but depending on how limited your time is, it might eat a lot of it. Thailand is crazy/fascinating/cultural and I just have my own delusions of grandeur about Nepal being epic. So those get my votes.

Second trip: Egypt. Maybe it’s the anthropologist in me, but as far as ruins and archeological marvels go, Egypt is the mothership.
